I was reading my favorite cartoon, <span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: bold;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-style: italic;">Get Fuzzy</span></span>, and it got me thinking, what if there never was a <span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: bold;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-style: italic;">Get Fuzzy</span></span>? What would I do at breakfast besides slurping down my <span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-style: italic;">Wheaties</span>? I mean, cartoons make me laugh, they entertain me, they can be thought provoking, and oh my lord, the political ones are a gas.</span><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style=";font-family:'times new roman';font-size:130%;" ><br /></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style=";font-family:'times new roman';font-size:130%;" >Have you ever really thought about what a cartoon means? It's more than just a silly drawing or a cute animation on TV. It's a form of expression. Satire, sarcasm, and just plain honesty are slyly portrayed through a piece of art work. It's not just a funny picture, it's a commentary on every aspect of society and our lives. </span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style=";font-family:'times new roman';font-size:130%;" ><br /></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:'times new roman';"><span style="font-size:130%;">This takes me back to my original thought: What if cartoons never existed? What kind of world would this be without this unique form of expression? Would it be better, worse, or just plain boring?
