Something to think about.

I had a horrible thought the other day. I was reading my favorite cartoon, Get Fuzzy, and it got me thinking, what if there never was a Get Fuzzy? What would I do at breakfast besides slurping down my Wheaties? I mean, cartoons make me laugh, they entertain me, they can be thought provoking, and oh my lord, the political ones are a gas.

Have you ever really thought about what a cartoon means? It's more than just a silly drawing or a cute animation on TV. It's a form of expression. Satire, sarcasm, and just plain honesty are slyly portrayed through a piece of art work. It's not just a funny picture, it's a commentary on every aspect of society and our lives.

This takes me back to my original thought: What if cartoons never existed? What kind of world would this be without this unique form of expression? Would it be better, worse, or just plain boring? What are your thoughts?
